We think it’s safe to say that most of us are winding down now for the festive period. With Christmas drinks done, presents brought, and final preparations underway for the big day hopefully you’ve got everything under control and can relax and enjoy the period.
However, let’s spare a minute for one person whose workload is increasing the closer we get to Christmas Eve, good old Saint Nic. We hate to do the calculations on the number of houses he will need to visit, let alone the number of presents that need to be wrapped and delivered. Naturally, the key to a large-scale project like this is to ensure you have clear , and we’re sure here at adexe that their Chief Requirements Elf, with countless years’ experience behind them, will have exactly that.
Right now, for instance, they’re busy planning for the big day. They’re looking at all the permutations and possibilities that could occur on the day, like if someone forgets to put out milk and cookies for the big man, or a carrot for Rudolph. The Chief Requirements Elf will be ensuring there are plenty of protein bars for Santa and the reindeers to get them through the night. They’re also well aware houses are being built differently these days with chimney stacks getting thinner, or not there at all. So, they’ve got their catalogue of items to pack, including an extra little bit of magic, or rope for entry via a skylight. All in all, we think Santa’s in good hands.
Should you find yourself in a similar position as Santa, with a large project on your hands and you need requirements management expertise, drop us a line and we’ll be happy to lend a hand.
We would like to wish everyone a very happy Christmas and all the best for the New Year.
